—Tommy Vercetti to Max Payne in "A Huge Payne"

Thomas "Tommy" Vercetti was the main protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and a member of the Mafia. He is the archenemy to Max Payne.

He was a supporting antagonist in the series, Stupid Mario Brothers, serving as a supporting antagonist in Season Four and a minor antagonist in Season Five.

History[]

Background[]

Vercetti lived in Vice City, where he and his partner Ken Rosenberg rose to become the two most powerful men in the city. He was a mob boss and drug dealer there before coming to the Real World.

Season Four[]

Vercetti offers Mario to join them and work for him in order to pay off his debt. Apparently, he is an enemy of Solid Snake and he sends Mario and Luigi to kill him. Also, he is Max Payne's archenemy because he mentions in his first appearance that he has been after him for awhile.

In the episode "A Huge Payne," Payne breaks in to his home and kills all his men until he confronts Tommy. In which, Tommy tries to make a deal with Payne, which is refused and ends up mortally wounded. Then, Payne does a monologue, and Tommy insults him about it. Payne responds by shooting him, resulting in Vercetti's death.

Season Five[]

Vercetti is revealed to have been brought back from the dead by Ganon. After a while of searching, Solid Snake is able to hunt him down and corner him. Despite sending ninjas to attack and stop Snake, Brock and Gary fight them off with ease. Finally, Snake corners Vercetti again and shoots him down, killing him permanently because of Ganon's policy of not resurrecting someone once they've failed him.

That Stupid Video Game Show[]

Vercetti appears in the sequel, and in the third episode, he tells people to join Tommy Vercetti's School of MAFIA.

Personality[]

Vercetti is depicted as both intelligent, but temperamental, easily angered, and quick to resort to violence. However, in the face of eminent danger, he shows a more cowardly side, often attempting to come to an agreement with the person about to kill him rather than stand and fight.

Trivia[]

  • Both times he was killed, he was killed by a character protrayed by Julian Petruzzelli.
  • In the sequel, it is not explained how he is still alive as he was killed in Stupid Mario Brothers one may assume however that due to the series not being cannon to Stupid Mario Brothers he can easily be apart of TSVGS.
